Sasol Wax is a leading producer and marketer of synthetic and petroleum-derived wax. These specialty products are used amongst others, in emulsions, coatings, hot melt adhesives, inks, bitumen and in industries ranging from paper and packaging to construction, personal care, printing and tire production.
Sasol Wax is a 100% subsidiary of the South African company, Sasol Limited. It employs 1,100 people worldwide, with head office in Hamburg, Germany. It has a number of manufacturing facilities in Europe and South Africa and has recently acquired Luxco Wax on the West Coast.
Sasol Wax North America's manufacturing facility in Richmond, CA offers our customers the option of custom blending to specific customer product specifications. Our raw materials come from a combination of domestic and imported sources that ensure a continued, reliable supply.
Our bulk terminal operation allows us to bring liquid wax parcels by tanker, improving both delivery and quality.
